The Sqoom is a very high tech looking piece of equipment so I was a little apprehensive before trying it. The Sqoom Starter Explorer Anti-Ageing Set contains the device, along with a charger and five anti-ageing serums and cleansers. After reading through the instruction manual and understanding which serum did what and which setting to use on the Sqoom I began my first treatment. To start with you use the xCential Cleanser Serum which preps the skin and cleanse deep down, preparing your skin to absorb all the lovely nutrients in the other serums. After about 4 minutes of simple cleansing on setting C, I washed it off as recommended and chose the xCential H+ Serum. Containing Hyaluronic Acid, this serum, combined with the micro vibrations of the Sqoom reach deep down through the layers of your skin to plump from within. Instantly after the treatment my skin looked tighter, smoother and more glowing. I left the treatment on overnight as instructed and the next day my skin felt baby soft. Usually when I wake up it feels quite bumpy and grainy, like it needs a good exfoliation, but I have never experienced such smooth skin before applying my morning moisturiser and trusty foundation! The next evening I gave the xCential Booster Serum a go which smooths on like a dream and makes skin feel velvety soft before you've even started the treatment.
